Sorry I disappeared just after Christmas. I was ill and could not get about. I did so enjoy the meetings. You are all so interesting and nice! If you would let me know the date, time, and location of the next meeting in the new year, 2017, I will make every effort to attend. Seasons Greetings, Susan

Our meetings are always on the 4th Sunday of every month, at the Best Western Charterhouse Hotel on 330 York Avenue. So our next meeting is actually tomorrow, on January 22nd, 2017. I just saw this post today, or I would have responded sooner, so if you don't end up seeing this or finding out when the meeting is otherwise, I hope to see you there in February!

Hello,
It has been kind of crazy here. My dad was in hospital, then I did something to my knee and could not really walk much, then my youngest graduated! Of course by this time, it was cabin and lake time! My husband is obsessed with getting up there whenever possible!! Did I mention I had ALL my teeth extracted? So crazy is the word! hope to return in September 2017!! :-)

Hello Again,
If I understand correctly, the next meeting will be on Nov 26th (the 4th Sunday of this month. At what time? xx:xx till xx:xx? The meeting place is still at the Best Western Charterhouse Hotel on 330 York Avenue. Yes?
I missed the meetings; but my life was simply unmanageable, at least for me!
I struggle with Mood Disorders, Gen. Anxiety Disorder and O.C.D., but other than that, I am perrrfectly normal! :-)
Some say one should not share this with a large group; because the Stigma of Mental un-Health is still strong.
However I am coming to see that the stigma will keep on if we all hide in our beds, with the sheets over our heads. Many who struggle with Mental Illness live productive lives with family and friends; it is just as with any other illness--there are times when it is hard.
There I am off my soapbox!
Any idea what the meeting will be about? Not crucial, I just want to say hello!
Best Regards. Susannah p.s. should I be bringing anything?
